Ryan Sookhu

Ryan Sookhu was born and raised in Long Island and received his bachelor’s degree from NYIT Old Westbury in pre-med/life science and played baseball. He always knew he wanted a career in the medical field, he always saw himself helping others and putting others' needs before his own. Ryan took some time off from school in hopes to find what facet of medicine he wanted to work in, after 5 years he stumbled onto radiation therapy and knew that was the career path for him. After looking at schools that offered Radiation Therapy, he found CAHE, and even though it was located in Brooklyn and it would be a commute, he felt it was the right choice choosing to continue his education at CAHE. Ryan feels the program directors are very hands-on and have guided him throughout his journey, which he found refreshing after being out of school for so long.
