Scholarships

Academic Scholarship

Applicants who qualify for the Academic Scholarship will be awarded either a 2.5% or 3.5% scholarship on the total tuition for the specific payment periods. No scholarship will be awarded to the fees due each payment period.

Academic and Award Criteria:

To qualify and maintain the scholarship, the student must:

  • Be actively participating in academic-related activities at Center for Allied Health Education (CAHE). Enrollment must be continuous, without interruption.
  • Meet all policies as published in the Institutional Catalog.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress with a 3.0 GPA or greater. A student placed on probation will no longer qualify for the scholarship for the next payment period.
  • Have no professional behavioral issues on record.

Student Eligibility and Student Application Criteria:

Students must be actively participating in academic activities at Center for Allied Health Education. Students will receive a 2.5% tuition scholarship when paying one payment period’s tuition obligation in full (i.e. Spring/Summer) or a 3.5% tuition scholarship when paying two payment period’s tuition obligation in full (i.e. Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter).

  • Future financial obligations must be paid in full by the date designated by the Finance Deparment.
  • All prior balances need to be paid up in full by the date designated by the Finance Deparment.
  • Federal Grants and Loans do not count towards payment in full for the scholarship if they have not been received by the date designated by the Finance Deparment.

Any Federal Grants and Loans received in excess of your total financial obligation will be refunded upon receipt of those monies as per the refund policy.

Graduate Student Scholarship

Applicants who qualify for the Graduate Student Scholarship will be awarded a 10% scholarship on the total tuition cost of the program. No scholarship will be awarded to the total fees of the program.

Period of Time Covered by the Scholarship:

Full enrollment

Academic and Award Criteria:

To maintain the scholarship, the student must:
• Maintain continuous enrollment at CAHE without interruption.
• Meet all policies as published in the Institutional Catalog.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress. A student placed on probation will no longer qualify for the scholarship.
• Have no professional behavioral issues on file.

Student Eligibility and Student Application Criteria:

Applicant must have graduated from Center for Allied Health Education within 12 months of starting a new program.

Employee Tuition Student Scholarship

Applicants who qualify for the Employee Tuition Scholarship will be awarded a 25% scholarship on the total tuition cost of the program. No scholarship will be awarded to the total fees of the program.

To maintain the scholarship, the student must:
• Employee must maintain employment at CAHE.
• Maintain continuous enrollment at CAHE without interruption.
• Meet all policies as published in the Institutional Catalog.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress. A student placed on probation will no longer qualify for the scholarship.
• Have no professional behavioral issues on file.

Student Eligibility and Student Application Criteria:

To qualify for the Employee Tuition Scholarship the applicant must be an immediate family member of either:

A) A full-time employee of the Center for Allied Health Education, or
B) A per diem employee who has been employed by the Center for 10+ years.

Immediate family member is defined as mother, father, spouse or child.

Partner/Affiliate Scholarship

The scholarship being offered depends on the tier level of the affiliate:
Tier 1: Major Hospital System with student rotations in multiple locations. The scholarship is equivalent to 10% of the total tuition cost billed per quarter. The scholarship is disbursed per quarter.

Tier 2: Private Practices with student rotations in multiple locations (i.e., imaging centers, surgical centers, nursing homes, firehouses, private ambulance companies, urgent cares). The scholarship is equivalent to 7.5% of the total tuition cost billed per quarter. The scholarship is disbursed per quarter.

Tier 3: Doctor’s Offices or Private Practices with students’ rotations in one location. The scholarship is equivalent to 5% of the total tuition cost billed per quarter. The scholarship is disbursed per quarter.

Example (Tier 1): Total Tuition for a program for a full-time student (without any transfer credit) is $48,640.00; the scholarship would be $4,864.00 disbursed over 7 quarters.

• Maintain continuous enrollment at CAHE without interruption.
• Meet all policies as published in the Institutional Catalog.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress. A student placed on probation will no longer qualify for the scholarship.
• Have no professional behavioral issues on file.

Student Eligibility and Student Application Criteria:

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be a current full-time employee at one of CAHE’s qualifying affiliates and provide a letter from human resources with their start date and employment status.
  • Applicant must be employed at the affiliate for at least one year.
  • Applicant must be in good standing and provide a letter from their supervisor/manager stating so.
  • Applicant must be enrolled at CAHE
  • Applicant must meet all entrance requirements for CAHE.

Military Tuition Scholarship

Applicants who are Veterans will be awarded a 10% scholarship off the tuition cost of the program. Fees are not included for scholarship consideration.

Applicants who are children or spouses of Veterans, will be awarded a 5% scholarship off the tuition cost of the program. Fees are not included for scholarship consideration.

For initial application, students must bring in a current Certificate of Eligibility for themselves.  If they’re married to or are children of a veteran, they will need the Certificate of Eligibility, DD214 of the parent, and proof of relationship (marriage certificate or birth certificate).

Student Eligibility and Student Application Criteria:

  • Applicant must meet all entrance requirements for CAHE
  • Applicant must be enrolled at CAHE
  • A Certificate of Eligibility must be submitted
  • For a child or the spouse of a veteran, proof of relationship must be submitted i.e. marriage certificate, birth certificate.
