Dr. Becky Lodewyck serves as Director of Academic Affairs, where she provides institution-wide strategies, policies and support around our academic programs, curriculum development, and academic support services to ensure excellence in all programming. Prior to joining CAHE, she served in senior leadership roles within higher education, including service as the Vice Provost overseeing Instructional Technology and Learning as well as Program Dean and Regional Director of Academic Affairs/Regional Assistant Dean for the College of Education. Becky brings a wealth of experience in teaching and learning to her role, her 15+ years of service as a faculty member was integral in creating and implementing research-based faculty performance standards and evaluation criteria. Dr. Lodewyck was integral in driving university strategies that fostered the enrichment of the working adult learner and informed the development of curriculum that supported institutional fulfillment of its mission.

Dr. Lodewyck earned her undergraduate degree in History and Anthropology from California State University, Stanislaus, a Master’s degree in e-Education, and her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Her dissertation was among the first to provide guidance on how electronic portfolios should be implemented in higher education teacher preparation programs.
