As the situation with the coronavirus continues to develop, CAHE is constantly reevaluating its operational guidelines in order to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our students and staff while simultaneously maintaining maximum possible continuity in your education.
The following guidelines will be in effect as of Wednesday, March 18th:
- All didactic lectures and exams will continue to be delivered through an online learning format. CAHE’s IT Department will continue to be available in the event that students experience any technical difficulties.
- All on-campus lab sessions will be suspended (The last day of on-campus labs will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020).
- Clinical Rotations: Students attending clinical rotations play a vital role in the healthcare team, especially during times of crisis when many clinical sites are shorthanded and understaffed. Therefore, CAHE has decided to continue to allow students to attend clinical rotations. Detailed information about clinical rotations has been distributed to students via email.
Once the crisis has passed and CAHE resumes its regular operations, all lab sessions and clinical rotations missed will be scheduled for make-up on a later date.
