Diagnostic Medical Sonography
CAHE's Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Accreditation is granted only after recommendation by CAAHEP's Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) based on a programmatic review and site visit.
Recognition by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) qualifies the program's graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the certification exam for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

CAHE's Medical Dosimetry Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). Accreditation is granted by JRCERT on a programmatic review and site visit.
Graduates of the Medical Dosimetry program are eligible to apply for and sit for the certification exam for the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB). Medical Dosimetrists become certified by the MDCB upon passing the examination and are eligible to use the credential of Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
The Medical Dosimetry program at Center for Allied Health Education received an accreditation award of 3 years from JRCERT, which is the maximum initial accreditation length.

Five-year cycles commence January 1 following the year in which the CMD passed the exam; CMDs can then begin accumulating continuing education credits.

Surgical Technology
CAHE's Surgical Technology Program is accredited by The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Accreditation is granted after a programmatic review and site visit.
Recognition by ABHES qualifies the program's graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the certification exam administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) to become a Certified Surgical Technologist.
The Surgical Technology program at Center for Allied Health Education received an accreditation award of 6 years from ABHES.
Notification as of 8/27/2021: Under ABHES Chapter III, Section A, Subsection 7(i) of the Accreditation Manual, the Center for Allied Health Education must submit a teach-out plan for the Surgical Technology program as the campus is not yet a degree-granting institution and is not currently issuing an Associate of Science degree in Surgical Technology.

CAHE's Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP) and recognized by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.
Recognition by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) qualifies the program's graduates for eligibility to apply for and take the certification exam for the National Registry of EMT's (NREMT). Recognition by the NYSDOH Bureau of EMS allows graduates to sit for the New York State Written Examination.
